Kristin spotted this unusual paper mache container in L'isle sur la Sorgue. In addition to its lovely creamy color and rich texture, the quirkiness of the legs adds great presence to the piece. We'd love to see it styled on a table, placed on a shelf or serving as a centerpiece in a breakfast room, and it could even be used as a serving piece for baked goods nestled in a napkin. But we might like it best as an unexpected container for a flower arrangement, provided that the flowers are placed in a waterproof vessel.
