Carved corner details and a softly worn gilt finish frame this 18th-century French mirror, with warm red bole peeking through where the gilding has rubbed away. The carving at the corners gives it just enough ornament without feeling fussy. It's a refined piece of European decorative history at a very livable size.

Dimensions: 19" W x 20.25" H

Styling Tip with Kristin: Hang this above a small chest or washstand, or lean it on a mantel with a pair of candlesticks. It's the right size for a powder room where you want a little history.
