Join the Cache
The Cache \kash\ (noun) — a hidden store of treasures — first dibs on collection drops, Live shopping events, and Round Top sneak peeks, plus Kristin's latest obsessions, reflections, and the occasional confession.
Drawn in red chalk and graphite by French painter Joseph Aubert (1849–1924), this 19th-century artist study shows the carefully rendered folds of a kneeling figure's legs, while the upper body is left lightly sketched and unfinished. It's a rare glimpse into an artist's process and the academic tradition of figure study. The drawing sits in an aged gilded frame.
Dimensions: 20.25" W x 26" H x 0.75" D
Styling Tip with Kristin: Hang this in a study or bedroom where you can really take in the linework. It looks especially lovely alongside other drawings or plaster casts.
